Indian AI Startups Echo CCI’s Antitrust Warnings Over Big Tech Data

Smaller AI firms in India voiced concerns similar to the Competition Commission of India (CCI), warning that Big Tech’s dominance in data, cloud infrastructure, and closed models is creating unfair competition. Roughly 37% of startups flagged risks of algorithmic collusion, 32% reported possible price discrimination, and 22% saw predatory pricing as a threat. To stay viable, many are spreading dependencies across multiple platforms.
