Indian apps may be collecting more personal data than required: Study

<p>As high as 74% of Android applications have access to the user's precise location, with a good 56% of iOS apps having access to the location even when the app is not in use, according to the annual privacy study 2021 conducted by Arrka. Around 68% of Android applications and 69% of iOS apps can access the user's camera, respectively, and approximately 46% of Android apps and 41% of iOS apps can read the user's contacts.</p>
