India's Data Center Capacity Poised for 5X Growth by 2030

India's data center capacity is forecast to grow fivefold, reaching 8GW by 2030, driven by soaring data consumption, cloud adoption, and AI technologies, according to a Jefferies report. This expansion requires an estimated $30 billion in capital expenditure and is expected to boost data center leasing revenues to $8 billion. Mumbai and Chennai currently hold the majority of the existing capacity.
