Intel join in on crypto train, launches new blockchain chip

<p>Intel has released a new chip specifically for blockchain applications like Bitcoin mining and minting NFTs. According to Intel, the chip is designed to speed up blockchain processes that require extensive computing power in an energy-efficient manner. Intel wants to profit from the crypto boom and growing demand for blockchain. The chip is slated to ship later this year with Jack Dorsey-led firm, Block Inc already the first customer of the new chip.<br />
