Lego’s New Game Boy Already Modded to Play Real Games
The new Lego Game Boy set has been transformed by Australian modder Natalie “the Nerd” into a fully functional handheld that runs genuine Game Boy cartridges—not an emulator. She built a custom circuit board using original Game Boy chips, squeezed it inside the Lego shell, and added USB-C power. She plans to release the design and modding parts publicly soon.
