Major AWS Outage Disrupts Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat, and More
Amazon Web Services (AWS) experienced a significant outage affecting its US-EAST-1 region. Services like Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat, ChatGPT, and Epic Games Store were among those disrupted. Users reported issues such as unresponsive Alexa devices and malfunctioning smart routines. AWS acknowledged the problem at 3:11 AM ET and began recovery efforts, with most services returning to normal by 6:35 AM.
