Meta introduces new way to log in through virtual reality

<p>Meta Platforms Inc. is changing how customers enter into its virtual reality headsets. It does by reversing a previous shift that mandated Facebook accounts on the devices while maintaining linkages to social relationships there. Beginning in August, the business will begin rolling out its new "Meta accounts." The social media juggernaut revealed plans to do away with the need for a Facebook login last year.</p>
