Meta Lets AI Agents Automate WhatsApp Business Setup and Management

Meta has introduced a new WhatsApp Business Tools MCP server that lets AI coding agents such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, and ChatGPT handle business setup tasks. Agents can create accounts, verify phone numbers, register Cloud API access, manage messaging templates, test messages, and monitor configuration issues. The move aims to simplify WhatsApp Business onboarding by letting developers complete much of the process through AI.
