Meta tests new "BeReal Roll Call" feature for Messenger

<p>Meta is internally testing a new feature for its Messenger app called "BeReal Roll Call". This feature prompts users to share a short video of themselves to confirm their presence in a group chat. The aim is to encourage more authentic interactions and reduce the amount of spam and fake accounts. The videos will be deleted after a certain period of time and users will have the option to turn off the feature. The company has not yet announced when the feature.</p>
