Microsoft Azure CTO Calls To End Usage Of C, C++ For New Projects
<p>Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft Azure, Mark Russinovich asked developers to avoid using C and C++ programming languages in new projects and use&nbsp;Rust instead, due to security and reliability concerns. The only reason&nbsp;provided by the Azure CTO for the use of Rust is that it was chosen over C and C+ for new projects that will&nbsp;require a non-garbage-collected (non-GC) language while adding that the latter two should be treated as &#39;deprecated&#39; by the industry.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
