Microsoft Clarifies Windows Future: No Immediate Plans to Replace C and C++
A Microsoft engineer has walked back previous claims regarding the total elimination of C and C++ in favor of memory-safe languages like Rust. Despite internal pushes for enhanced security, the company confirmed there are no plans to rewrite the core Windows operating system.
