Microsoft Closes Local Account Bypass Loopholes in Latest Windows 11 Build

Microsoft is tightening Windows 11 setup by eliminating workarounds that allowed users to bypass Microsoft account and internet requirements. In the latest Insider Preview, methods like the “bypassnro” script and “start ms-cxh:localonly” command have been disabled, as they led to incomplete setups. While enforcing online account use, Microsoft now offers a limited option to customize the default user folder name during setup via command-line tweaks.
