Microsoft Launches MAI-Image-1, Challenging AI Image Rivals
Microsoft has unveiled MAI-Image-1, its first custom-developed AI image generator, marking a move toward independence from models like DALL-E. The model focuses on speed and creating highly photorealistic visuals, including nuanced lighting and reflections, to offer superior quality to creators. Debuting in the top 10 on the LMArena leaderboard, MAI-Image-1 is now being integrated into Microsoft's Copilot and Bing Image Creator.
