MPA Demands Meta Stop Using PG-13 for Instagram Teen Content

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) has issued a cease-and-desist letter to Meta, demanding it stop using the PG-13 rating to describe content settings for Instagram teen accounts. The MPA argues this use is false and misleading because Meta's automated screening does not follow the MPA's curated, human-parent rating process, potentially eroding trust in the established movie rating system.
