Mumbai Surpasses 4 GW Data Centre Capacity, Leading India's Digital Infrastructure Growth

Mumbai has solidified its position as India's data centre capital, accounting for 40% of the nation's total capacity. In the first half of 2025, the city's capacity surged 14.3% to exceed 4 GW, comprising 591 MW operational, 185 MW under construction, and 3.2 GW in the pipeline. With significant investments and hyperscale projects underway, Mumbai is poised to remain South Asia's digital gateway.
