Nintendo Sues Genki Over Unofficial Switch 2 Accessories and Trademark Infringement
Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against accessory maker Genki, alleging trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising related to Genki's unofficial Nintendo Switch 2 accessories. The lawsuit, filed on May 2, 2025, claims that Genki's use of Nintendo's trademarks and promotion of products as compatible with the unreleased Switch 2 misleads consumers into believing the products are authorized by Nintendo.
