NSM deploys petascale computer at IIT Roorkee

<p>The government&#39;s National Supercomputer Mission (NSM) has installed a supercomputer system with 1.66 petaFLOPS of computing power at IIT, Roorkee. The PARAM-Ganga supercomputer was designed, built and certified by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), using components manufactured and assembled in India, as per the ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY). C-DAC built the software stack that is used in the system.</p>
