Nvidia faces restrictions by the US government to export its latest AI chips to China

<p>US imposed restrictions on exporting two new and most Nvidia AI chips A100 and H100 to China. This ban could cost damage as much as $400 million in the third quarter.</p> <p>US government said that this decision was taken due to the misuse of these chips like using them for military activities and beyond. The trade between Nvidia and China has not been restricted as it has allowed the company to manufacture its chips in China. Whether chinese customers can use these chips is not clear yet</p>
