Off the Map: Apple Bans Plumbers, Electricians, and Crypto ATMs From Advertising

Apple has updated its ad policies to ban home service providers—like plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, and roofers—from advertising on Apple Maps. The restriction, which also blocks ads for crypto ATMs and bail bond services, rolled out just ahead of Apple's plans to launch sponsored business pins in the US and Canada. Medical ads will face case-by-case reviews.
