OpenAI Introduces ID Verification for Access to Advanced AI Models

OpenAI is set to implement identity verification for organizations seeking access to its most advanced AI models. The "Verified Organisation" process requires submission of a government-issued ID from countries where OpenAI's API is available. Each ID can verify one organization every 90 days, and not all applicants will be eligible. This measure aims to enhance security and prevent misuse, including unauthorized data extraction by foreign entities.
