OpenAI Moves to Dismiss Musk-Backed Trade Secret Claims by xAI
OpenAI has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by Elon Musk’s xAI alleging that OpenAI poached employees to steal trade secrets tied to xAI’s Grok chatbot. OpenAI rejected the accusations as groundless and part of Musk’s “ongoing harassment,” arguing that workers have a right to change employers and xAI is losing talent for its own reasons.
