OpenAI Moves to Dismiss xAI’s Trade-Secret Lawsuit, Denies Allegations
OpenAI has asked a U.S. federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Elon Musk’s company xAI, which accuses OpenAI of poaching staff to steal trade secrets related to xAI’s Grok chatbot. OpenAI rejects the claims, calling them unsubstantiated and characterizing the suit as part of Musk’s “ongoing harassment.” It argues that employees have the right to change jobs freely.
