OpenAI Suspends Sora Video Creations of Martin Luther King Jr. After Estate Objections
OpenAI has paused its Sora video tool’s capability to generate depictions of Martin Luther King Jr. following objections from his estate over disrespectful representations. The decision stems from instances where users produced videos defaming or mocking the civil rights leader’s image. OpenAI stated that family or estate representatives now have authority to opt out of future likeness use as it strengthens content guardrails.
