Oracle to Power Cloud Services with AMD’s Next-Gen MI450 AI Chips
Oracle has partnered with AMD to integrate their upcoming MI450 AI processors into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The collaboration aims to deploy 50,000 MI450 chips beginning in Q3 2026, with plans to scale further in 2027 and beyond. This move lets Oracle expand its compute offerings and strengthens AMD’s position in the AI infrastructure market, positioning them to rival Nvidia.
