Pay Up or Stay Silent: WhatsApp to Block Messages from Unregistered Business Accounts

Starting October 1, WhatsApp will halt the delivery of service messages for WhatsApp Business accounts and Solution Providers that lack a registered payment method on file. Meta is officially rolling out per-message charges for service and select utility messages, ending a long-standing free tier and requiring businesses to link billing information immediately to avoid service disruptions.
