Qualcomm to invest $100M in the metaverse industry

<p>Qualcomm's venture into the metaverse has continued with the launch of a $100 million fund to support developers and firms working on extended reality (XR) experiences, as well as related AR and AI technology. The fund will be a combination of venture investments by Qualcomm Ventures and Qualcomm Technologies' grant program. President CEO, Cristiano Amon said that through this fund they want to empower developers to push beyond the possibilities. </p>
