Reddit changes developer API terms to restrict monetization and prevent AI misuse

Reddit, the social news and discussion site, has revised its API terms for developers, placing restrictions on monetization and the use of artificial intelligence. The new terms of service, which take effect in July, prohibit the use of Reddit data to build products or services that can be sold or generate revenue, except in certain cases where developers have been granted express written permission. The new terms also forbid the use of AI or machine learning tools.
