Reforms Free ISRO to Focus on Deep Space and Frontier Tech, PMO Says
According to Prime Minister’s principal secretary P.K. Mishra, recent space sector reforms have enabled ISRO to concentrate on advanced technologies and deep-space missions, while private players manage application-level activities. He urged integration of AI, quantum computing, and big data into satellite and ground systems, noted the impact of tech-transfer initiatives and funds, and advocated expanding global collaborations—citing the NASA-ISRO NISAR project.
