Russia's Debut AI Humanoid Robot, AIdol, Tumbles on Stage
Russia’s first AI-powered humanoid robot, named AIdol, suffered an embarrassing fall during its public debut at a technology event in Moscow. As AIdol was being led onto the stage, it lost balance and crashed face-first, scattering pieces. Developers from the Russian firm Idol attributed the highly-publicized incident to calibration issues but maintained the event was part of the robot’s real-time testing phase.
