Samsung’s AI-based drone can remotely optimise 5G network performances

<p>Samsung successfully demonstrated its new drone-based antenna configuration measurement solution. It allows remote cell site monitorisation, employee safety and 5G network optimisation. Engineer on the ground can control the camera-equipped drone to capture pictures of heightened antennas. Drone data is immediately transmitted to the cloud where AI/DL algorithms detect tilts in antennas. The firm will later enable remote antenna adjustment feature.</p>
