Synopsys and OpenAI have partnered to create "GPT-Synopsys," a specialized AI model designed to optimize and accelerate semiconductor creation. Under this revenue-sharing agreement, the tool aims to shave weeks or months off the chip development lifecycle by assisting engineers with complex circuit layouts and design trade-offs, supercharging Synopsys's growth forecast for fiscal 2027.
