South Korea Delays Google Map Data Export Over Security Concerns

South Korea has postponed its decision on Google's request to transfer local map data to servers outside the country. Citing national security concerns, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has requested that Google submit additional documents within 60 days for a final ruling. South Korea previously denied similar requests from Google in 2007 and 2016.
