SpaceX’s Starship Reaches Orbit for the First Time in Major Reusability Milestone

SpaceX’s Starship has reached Earth orbit for the first time, marking a major milestone for the company’s largest rocket. The flight continued despite the loss of one of the six Raptor engines shortly after the upper-stage separation. Starship also deployed 26 V3 Starlink satellites during the mission. Reaching orbit moves SpaceX closer to its goal of making Starship a fully reusable system for commercial launches, lunar missions and future space-based infrastructure.
