Copyright Lawsuit Hits Meta Over AI Training

The owner of Entrepreneur magazine has sued Meta Platforms in federal court, alleging copyright infringement. The publisher claims Meta illegally copied its instructional materials and business books—spanning five decades—to train its Llama large language models. The suit argues that Meta's AI then generates content that directly competes with the magazine's copyrighted works, calling the action "stealing" rather than "innovation."
