Steam Deck Gets Low-Power Downloads with Screen Off
Valve has finally added a long-requested feature to the Steam Deck via a beta update: "display-off low-power download mode." This feature allows the handheld to continue downloading games and updates with the screen turned off, saving battery and preventing potential screen burn-in. The device will complete downloads before fully sleeping and will automatically use this mode when plugged in, a major quality-of-life upgrade for users.
