Meta is testing "super sensing" AI smart glasses designed to continuously record audio and snap photos every few seconds to build a perfect daily recall log. Privacy experts warn this threatens biometric and data laws, especially as Meta plans to disable the recording alert LED. To sidestep regulatory backlash, engineers proposed extracting and uploading only text-based metadata rather than saving raw audio or video files.
