There will be no cringe-worthy selfies in the metaverse, says Zuckerberg

<p>Mark Zuckerberg recently took a photo to commemorate the entry of France and Spain into Meta's unimpressive virtual reality platform, Horizon Worlds. The image, which showed the young CEO in front of a low-resolution facsimile of the Eiffel tower, immediately hit a nerve and prompted sneers, jeers, and sighs from quick-witted social media users. The Meta boss’ response included another avatar and an ancient-looking cafe.</p>
