TikTok Enables Voice Memos and Picture Sharing in DMs for All
TikTok is rolling out a major update to its direct messaging: users aged 16 and older can now send voice memos up to one minute and share up to nine images or videos at once. Voice recordings send automatically upon release unless canceled via swipe. This move, gradually rolling out, enhances TikTok’s social functionality—making the platform feel more conversational and less like a pure entertainment feed.
