Tinder Debuts "Double Date" Feature to Ease Gen Z Dating Anxiety

Tinder has launched a “Double Date” feature in the U.S. that lets two users pair up and swipe as a duo, matching with other pairs. Inspired by Gen Z’s demand for low-pressure social experiences, matches trigger group chats for all four participants. Early tests show under-29 users dominate, with 35% higher messaging rates and 12–15% of matches coming from new or returning users.
