Uber Relaunches Bike-Taxi ‘Bike Direct’ in Bengaluru Amid Legal Ambiguity
Uber has officially resumed its bike-taxi service—now rebranded as Bike Direct—in Bengaluru, following Rapido’s revival of similar operations. The move comes after the Karnataka High Court clarified on August 20 that it had not issued any prohibitive orders during the bike-taxi hearing, effectively allowing services to operate for now.
