U.S. Approves Multi-Billion Nvidia Chip Exports to UAE Under New AI Deal
The United States has cleared several billion dollars in Nvidia chip exports to the United Arab Emirates, authorized via export licenses under a May-established AI partnership. The deal lets the UAE import 500,000 advanced AI chips annually starting in 2025, potentially extending to 2030. In return, the UAE will make reciprocal investments in the U.S. This move bolsters the UAE’s AI infrastructure ambitions and cements U.S.–UAE technology cooperation.
