Valve's Steam Frame VR Headset to Run Android Apps Natively
Valve's new Steam Frame wireless VR headset, set for an early 2026 launch, will natively support Android games and apps. Leveraging its ARM-based Snapdragon chip, the headset runs standard Android APKs, allowing developers to easily port mobile and Quest-style VR titles directly to Steam. This move expands the Steam ecosystem beyond traditional PC gaming and aims to make the platform a more versatile entertainment system.
