Warner Music and AI Music Generator Udio End Copyright Suit
Warner Music Group has settled its copyright infringement lawsuit against AI music startup Udio, signing a license deal. The agreement resolves the dispute and establishes a framework for Udio to launch a new, licensed AI music creation service in 2026. The new service will allow users to remix and create new tunes using established artists' works, providing new revenue streams while ensuring protection for creators.
