YouTube Finishes Trial that Made 4K Into Premium Feature

<p>YouTube ended the experiment that prevented users from watching videos in 4K without paying an additional $11.99 per month for a premium subscription according to one of its official Twitter accounts. The company caused a stir earlier this month when it acknowledged in a string of since-deleted tweets that some of its users had participated in a trial designed to examine "the feature preferences of Premium & non-Premium viewers" and asked users for input on the concept.</p>
