No Azure for Apartheid’ Protesters Storm Brad Smith’s Office

Protesters affiliated with the “No Azure for Apartheid” movement—including current and former Microsoft employees—forced entry into Microsoft’s Building 34 at its Redmond campus, occupying President Brad Smith’s office and remotely livestreaming the demonstration. Police responded, arresting seven individuals and temporarily locking down the building. In a press briefing inside the occupied office, Smith condemned the action and announced an external investigation into the allegations.
