Powering FinTech 4.0: Singapore Pledges $170M to Drive AI and Tech Innovation

The Monetary Authority of Singapore has launched the fourth phase of its Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Scheme (FSTI 4.0), committing S$220 million (~$170 million) over three years. Aimed at maintaining its global competitiveness alongside centers like Hong Kong, the fund focuses on accelerating frontier technologies like AI, upgrading digital infrastructure, and expanding talent across its ecosystem of 1,800+ fintech firms.
