TikTok to Be Overseen by Oracle, Algorithm Retrained for U.S. under Upcoming Deal

The White House announced that President Donald Trump will sign a deal later this week ensuring TikTok's U.S. operations are secure. Under the agreement, TikTok will be majority-owned by American investors and managed by a board with national security expertise. Oracle will serve as the security provider, independently monitoring U.S. user data stored on Oracle-operated servers.
