Former president Donald Trump signed three executive orders aimed at revitalizing American drone production and enhancing national security. These directives instruct the FAA to speed up beyond‑visual‑line‑of‑sight (BVLOS) drone regulations, prioritize U.S.-made drones for government and first responders, and establish a federal task force to counter rogue drone threats. Additionally, they push for reduced reliance on Chinese drone imports, promote electric air taxis and supersonic flights.
