Trump’s Policies Cut U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Goals by Nearly Half

A new Rhodium Group report forecasts that under Donald Trump’s current energy and climate policy rollback, U.S. greenhouse gas emissions will fall only 26–35% by 2035 compared with 2005 levels—much lower than the previously projected 50–56%.
The decline in emissions is being slowed by reductions in federal environmental protections, phasing out clean energy incentives.
