Andreessen Horowitz managing partner Raghu Raghuram says India has the talent to eventually build major AI companies despite limited frontier-model development and computing capacity today. He believes Indian startups can first build services using open-weight models and gradually move toward developing their own models as compute becomes more accessible. He also highlights rapidly growing demand for AI computing infrastructure.
